Terms & Conditions

All bookings, pending or confirmed, are subject to the following terms and conditions. Payment in full or of a deposit constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

1. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure your dog is fit and healthy to attend training, your dog must be fully vaccinated and not suffering from any infectious disease that could be transmitted to any other dogs. If in doubt about your dog’s health please consult your vet.

2. All dogs must be treated for internal and external parasites. If in doubt, please consult your vet.

3. No females in season should be brought to classes.

4. No dogs that appear unwell or have had contact with another dog known to have an infectious illness should be brought to classes.

5. Pet Insurance is highly recommended. Owners are responsible for all vet bills, no matter how they are incurred.

6. We accept no responsibility for loss of, or injury to, your dog whilst training with us.

7. All dogs must be kept on a lead unless otherwise instructed.

8. Flat collars and/or harnesses should be worn. No flexi/extendable leads.

9. Cheeky Wee Rascals follows the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers code of ethics and aversive methods and equipment will not be allowed in any training sessions. This includes, but is not limited to, prong collars, pain and/or intimidation. Anyone using this type of equipment or methods may be asked to leave the training session and no refunds will be given.

10. Cheeky Wee Rascals promotes reward-based training methods requiring owners to bring and use food and toys to motivate and reward their dog.

11. We welcome children to our sessions. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children should not interact with dogs other than their own.

12. We accept no responsibility for any damage to, theft of, or from your vehicle. Please do not leave valuables in your car and never leave dogs unattended in a vehicle.

13. Training sessions may be held outdoors, and terrain may be uneven and slippery in places.

14. Participation in training and behaviour activities is entirely at the risk of the participant. Cheeky Wee Rascals, nor its individual trainers or helpers, accept any responsibilities, whatsoever, for any injuries or losses sustained during these sessions.

15. Should classes have to be cancelled due to bad weather or other circumstances beyond our control, these will be rescheduled.

16. We must be alerted to any behavioural problems prior to accepting a booking.

17. You must not knowingly book an aggressive or reactive dog into classes. If in doubt please speak to us before booking. If not, we may not refund your course payment. We can offer you alternative training solutions.

18. Handlers and/or owners remain responsible for their dogs at all times and are advised to ensure they have adequate pet insurance cover for liability in the unlikely event of damage or injury caused by their dog to property or to a third party.

Full payment is required at the time of booking.

 

Cancellation Rights
When booking a course please note that from your start date you must attend consecutive classes unless changes are made by the trainer. If you do not or cannot attend a class in the course no financial compensation will be provided.

A minimum of 2 weeks cancellation notice is required to cancel the whole course or an individual mantrailing session. Cancellations with less than two weeks notice will not be refunded.

Photography

By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, you give Cheeky Wee Rascals permission to publish in print, electronic, or video format the likeness or image of you and/or your dog. Photographs/videos may be used in future advertising and shared on our Facebook page and website. Please let us know at the time of booking if you do not want your photographs/videos to be shown.
